Firstly, even though we are a small business, we're proud that our mats are affordable. Praise Pilates was born as a passion project to make exercise feel accessible.
However, we don't compromise on quality and spent months researching the perfect materials, durability, length, and thickness to ensure that our mats can keep up with you!

Every design is created intentionally to feel joyful, feminine, and motivating. You don't need a £40 reformer class to move your body. Our mats are designed to feel just as empowering.

What are Praise Pilates mats made from?

Our mats are made from high-quality Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE).
After testing multiple materials, we find that TPE is the most suitable for home workouts because it is:

Grippy / non-slip on both sides
Lightweight and portable
Durable for slow and fast movements
Free from latex and PVC
Sweat-proof and waterproof
Designed to cushion without feeling bulky

They’re made to support real movement - at home, in studios, or wherever you roll them out.

How do I clean and care for my Praise Pilates mat?

To keep your mat in great condition:

After use:

Wipe down with a soft cloth
Use warm water with a small amount of mild soap if needed

For deeper cleaning:

Gently hand wash with diluted mild detergent
Wipe clean with a damp cloth
Lay flat or hang to air dry completely before rolling

Avoid:

Harsh chemicals
Alcohol-based sprays
Essential oil cleaners
Machine washing
Soaking for long periods

TPE is durable but gentle care will help your mat last longer.

Can I use shoes on the mat?

We recommend using your mat barefoot or with grip socks.

Training shoes may damage the surface and reduce longevity.

How thick are the mats?

We have specifically chosen 6mm thickness for our mats to balance

When mats are too thin, they can cause joint pain and wear out faster. When mats are too thick, they can become too stretchy, lose its shape, and cause instability.

Are the mats non-slip?

Yes! Our mats provide grip on both sides:
Grooves on the underside to stay grounded to the floor.
And a matte frosted surface to reduce slipping!

Like most mats, grip improves slightly with use as the surface settles. For best results:

Use on a flat, dry surface
Keep hands and mat clean before practice

How long does delivery take? / How much does delivery cost?

It takes up to 3 working days to process the order first, then delivery time begins once the parcel has been dispatched.

You can select your preferred delivery time at check out.
Delivery fees are calculated by the courier you have chosen.

Do you ship internationally?

At the moment, we only ship to addresses within the UK.
However, we are working on expanding our customer reach and are looking for ways to keep this affordable.
